Will is a senior credit and restructuring lawyer. He advises companies, lenders and credit funds on financings, restructurings and enforcement matters.
His work focuses on originations and stressed and distressed capital structures, including enforcement and workout strategy, and restructuring processes. Prior to relocating to Dubai, Will was based in London, including time spent on secondment at a leading European credit fund.

Representative matters

  • The Coordinating Committee on the AED7 billion restructuring of the debt of an Islamic mortgage provider in the UAE.
  • The senior lenders to Petra Diamonds Limited in its financial restructuring and scheme of arrangement (previous firm experience)
  • The security agent and notes trustee in relation to a customer services outsourcing business operating in the LATAM region in its Part 26A restructuring plan (previous firm experience)
  • The senior lenders on the financial restructuring of a London-listed retailer which was ultimately implemented through a company voluntary arrangement (previous firm experience)
  • Numerous engagements acting for secured lenders (banks and private credit funds) on enforcement and workouts
