Sophie has a broad range of experience of advising lenders and borrowers on a range of Islamic, real estate and general corporate financing transactions. 
Sophie also advises sponsors, borrowers, lenders, export credit agencies and multilaterals lenders on project development and financing, with experience of the petrochemical, energy and infrastructure sectors across the MENA region.



Representative matters

On the financing aspects of the sale of Emirates Steel Industries PJSC by SENAAT to create a best-in-class listed MENA steel-focused player.

Emirates Global Aluminium on various financing facilities.

The sponsor on the financing of the Amiral petrochemical complex located in Jubail, KSA.

A sovereign wealth fund on its ijara and conventional refinancing on a AED2.3bn Term Loan Facility provided by a syndicate of banks.
