Sophia supports our Corporate Team with M&A and private equity transactions.

As a Transaction Lawyer her tasks include the coordination and management throughout the entire transaction cycle, particularly during the due diligence and signing processes.

Her legal project management capabilities consist of structuring of annex processes, data room supervision, guidance on the use of legal tech tools, leading of the internal as well as external communication and support with closing preparations. She’s also an expert for topics regarding the transparency register (UBO register of Germany) and has experience with drafting various transactions documents (incl. the legal DD report).

Before joining the Transaction Support Unit, Sophia worked as a Certified Legal Assistant at AOS for 2,5 years within the Employment Team while she completed her business law studies. Prior to joining AOS, she gained work experiences in multiple other international law firms.

  • SAP, on the acquisition of LeanIX a market leader for enterprise architecture management (EAM). SAP is one of the world's leading producers of software for the management of business processes, developing solutions that facilitate effective data processing and information flow across organizations, with more than 105,000 employees worldwide. LeanIX technology enables companies to visualize their entire software inventory, identify outdated applications and reach the desired target state. The transaction can be classified as one of the largest Venture Capital deals in Germany.
