Shantanu advises issuers and underwriters on a wide range of debt capital markets transactions, including MTN, statutory cover bond and commercial paper programmes, private placements, standalone issuances, green and sustainability-linked bonds, hybrid securities, regulatory capital and liability management.
He is a dual qualified lawyer, qualified as a Solicitor of England and Wales as well as an Advocate in India. He has advised on transactions involving several types of issuers (corporates, financial institutions, sovereigns and supra-nationals) spanning across various jurisdictions including the Nordics, central Europe and emerging markets.
