Since joining Advanced Delivery Legal in October 2020, Shannon has gained substantial experience supporting the firm’s US and London offices in responding to requests from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), US Department of Justice (DOJ), and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Her work spans a wide range of investigations, including alleged regulatory violations in the cryptocurrency market and suspected market manipulation and misrepresentation in global commodities trading.
Shannon has supported on numerous large-scale commercial disputes before the English courts, assisting with first and second-level disclosure reviews, undertaking privilege and confidentiality assessments, preparing redactions and compiling chronologies.
In competition matters, Shannon has reviewed materials for a Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Second Request and analysed pricing and contract negotiations across customer channels to assess potential anti-competitive practices in relation to a class-action antitrust lawsuit.
Her employment experience includes investigating potential whistleblowing concerns, reviewing materials relating to employee grievances and allegations, and preparing document productions in response to Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs).
Shannon supports the firm’s cyber team, conducting personal data reviews to identify individuals requiring post-incident notification and is a member of the cyber incident response and the dawn raid hotline.
Shannon also has experience across real estate, corporate, and banking matters. Her real estate work includes reviewing leases, preparing Land Registry applications, and providing post-completion support. She has contributed to corporate due diligence and deal completions, and has worked on banking projects, including LIBOR loan reviews.
