Sarah is a technology transactions lawyer who advises clients on digital infrastructure and complex digital transformation projects.

She advises on strategic partnerships, software-as-a-service offerings, cloud computing and software licensing, as well as on large-scale outsourcing transactions, including data center outsourcing. She also advises on technology-driven M&A transactions and joint ventures, and on the development and commercialization of hyperscale and AI data center projects.

Sarah has extensive experience advising on data-driven business models, including the repurposing and monetization of data, data sharing (including Internet of Things applications), profiling, direct marketing and artificial intelligence. She also advises clients on data protection and cybersecurity matters, including incident response and regulatory investigations.

Her clients include private entities and public bodies at both local and international level, including financial institutions, major cloud providers, technology companies, telecommunications operators, data center and digital infrastructure operators, online platforms and businesses in the healthcare, energy and mining sectors, as well as government bodies.

Sarah completed the "Law and Artificial Intelligence Program" at the Brussels School of Competition in 2021. She has been a member of the Technology Committee of the Flemish Bar Association since 2022, is the author of various publications in her areas of expertise and is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences. She is also a guest lecturer on outsourcing agreements at the University of Antwerp's Faculty of Law.

In 2023, Sarah was selected as one of "Belgium's 40 under 40" in recognition of her work on inclusion in the legal profession.

  • Wyre and Telenet on the structuring of a joint venture with Proximus and Fiberklaar on the rollout of next-generation fibre and hybrid network infrastructure across Flanders, including FTTH deployment and commercial wholesale access arrangements in a regulated telecoms environment.
