Sara is specialized in banking and projects in Morocco and in the OHADA region with a strong track record advising clients on complex financing transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

She has extensive experience in project financing, advising clients on the legal and regulatory frameworks involved in developing and operating large-scale projects. She has also been involved in several acquisition financings, covering a range of sectors.

Sara works closely with commercial lenders, development finance institutions, sponsors, project companies and contractors.

Representative matters

TAQA Morocco on the extension of the PPA contract for Jorf Lasfar plant for a period of 17 years from 2027 to 2044. 

Oragroup and Banque Ouest-Africaine de Développement (BOAD) as co-arrangers mandated by Eranove and the lenders (including BOAD, AFC and commercial banks) to structure, arrange and syndicate a financing in Euro and CFA Francs for the construction, operation and maintenance of the Kékéli tri-fuel thermal plant in Togo. 

EDF Renouvelables and Masdar on the development, financing, construction and operation, and maintenance of the NOOR Midelt Phase I hybrid CSP and PV Project. 

EDF EN and Mitsui on the development and financing of the 120 MW Taza wind farm in Morocco. 

The sponsors on the development and financing of the IWPP in Dakhla.
