Sachin is a projects, energy and infrastructure specialist and has a wide range of experience advising developers, government entities and lenders on energy transition, infrastructure, and petrochemicals across the region. 
He has also advised on multiple large-scale mega projects. Sachin qualified in the UK and spent over seven years practicing in London before relocating to the Dubai office where he has been based for the last two decades. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Swahili and Gujarati.

Experience

Representative matters

The sponsor on the construction of a multibillion USD cross-border gas pipeline project, transporting natural gas through four countries: Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India.

Duqm Refineries and Petrochemical Industries Company, a joint venture between Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and Oman Oil Company, on the USD9bn Duqm Export Refinery Project.

A Gas and Oil Company’s Renewables Division in the Middle East in relation to the first non-recourse financing of a private sector portfolio of distributed solar generation plants in the region. The purpose of the transaction was the funding of over 30 rooftop solar projects in the UAE.

The project sponsors on the financing, development, procurement and construction of a USD6.5bn plastics plant in Sohar in the Sultanate of Oman.

The Saudi government, Tatweer Building Company on their first two PPP projects in Saudi Arabia on the construction of 100 schools in various cities across the kingdom.
