Romane specialises in asset management.

Her practice focuses mainly on structuring all types of investment funds on behalf of asset management companies, including private equity funds, real estate funds, private debt funds, professional and retail funds, whether or not labelled as ELTIFs, French “Other AIFs”, and UCITS.

Romane has developed particular expertise in regulatory matters affecting the activities of investment firms and asset management companies, notably in relation to ESG (Articles 8 and 9 under the European SFDR, Taxonomy) and ELTIF.

She also advises investors — including development finance institutions (DFIs), family offices, insurance companies, funds of funds and many other institutional investors, as well as supranational institutions — on their investments in investment funds across multiple jurisdictions.
