Senior Associate

Roman specialises in capital markets transactions, with a particular emphasis on debt and digital securities, as well as securitisations.

He regularly advises financial institutions, corporates, and fintech companies on the structuring and execution of cross-border capital markets transactions, including the issuance of both traditional and digital securities.

In addition to his capital markets work, Roman has extensive experience in general banking matters, particularly in bank lending. He advises banks and financial institutions on cross-border secured and unsecured lending transactions, providing guidance on complex financing structures.

Roman holds a Master of Science in Law and Finance from the University of Oxford and an LL.M. from Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO).

Prior to joining the company, Roman gained more than two years of experience working in another leading law firm in Luxembourg. Roman joined A&O Shearman in 2021.
