Renátus is Co-Managing Partner of Bratislava and Head of Bratislava Finance.

He has over 20 years of experience in advising on restructuring and insolvency matters, corporate finance, leveraged finance, acquisition finance, project and real estate finance transactions. He regularly acts as a trusted adviser to both domestic and foreign financial institutions, debtors as well as corporate clients.

Renátus has participated in the preparation of key legislation on restructuring, bankruptcy and collateral in Slovakia. He is consistently recognized as a leading individual in banking and finance sector by biggest legal directories.

Representative matters

  • Slovenské elektrárne on the refinancing of its EUR 4.3 billion loan portfolio from a syndicate of 20 international banks.
  • Tatry mountain resorts on the financing of their recapitalization while also providing financing for sustainable growth.The financing consisted of EUR 180 million Senior Facilities with a syndicate of leading Slovak, Czech and Polish banks and EUR 110 million Junior Facility with J&T BANKA.
  • Penta Hospitals International on the EUR150 million syndicated loan financing provided by eight banks. The transaction spanned the entire CEE region which we were able to cover from our offices in Bratislava, Prague and Warsaw.
  • Erste Group Bank on EUR 229.5 million refinancing of Aupark Bratislava shopping centre. This was a landmark transaction, which marked a record acquisition in Slovak real estate market.
  • Penta Investments on the senior financing for one of the leading healthcare real estate platforms in the Czech Republic.
  • Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets on the EUR 1 billion acquisition of Romanian power generation, distribution and supply assets from state-owned Czech utility group ČEZ Group.
