Experience

Representative matters

Two banks in a cross border receivables financing transaction consisting in the sale of certain mobile communication devices receivables originated by two Dutch mobile network providers and issuance of senior secured funding notes.

A global institutional alternative investment management firm (investor) in relation to a public securitisation transaction listed in Ireland.

A Greek credit institution in relation to private and public securitisations in relation to Greek non-performing loans portfolios.

Several banks and investors in warehouse financing deals and its respective amendment and termination.

Key areas of support included (i) co-ordinating each transaction and relevant tax, swaps and data protection teams, (ii) drafting, reviewing and commenting on the sale and issuance documentation and (iii) providing regulatory advice (including in relation to the UK/EU Securitisation Regulation).

  • Contributor to the Portugal chapter for the international guide "Securitisation 2021", published by Chambers as part of the Global Practice Guides series.
  • Co-author of the Portugal chapter for the "Securitisation Country Comparative Guide", published by The Legal 500.
