Rachel is experienced in litigating high-value and sensitive Employment Tribunal claims, including complex discrimination and whistleblowing matters. 

Rachel advises predominantly employer clients in a range of industries, with a particular focus on professional and financial services. Her work includes advising on the handling of workplace employment processes including grievances, disciplinaries, investigations, redundancies and other employee relation issues.

Before joining the firm, Rachel began her career in the London Employment department of a global law firm with a large disputes practice.

  • A complex whistleblowing, disability discrimination and unfair dismissal claim listed for a 20-day hearing involving significant and numerous adjustments to the usual Employment Tribunal process and practice. 
  • Various applications in Employment Tribunal proceedings, including for privacy, reasonable adjustments and specific disclosure. 
  • Defending Employment Tribunal proceedings on behalf of a number of financial services firms including global banks. 
  • Various employers on the handling of complex grievance and disciplinary exercises, with issues including disability and harassment. 
  • A global technology company for the investigation of sensitive complaints of inappropriate behaviour of a senior individual.

Pro bono

  • Advising on employment law matters at Toynbee Hall Employment Clinic and Brent Citizens Advice Bureau.
