Dr Philipp Zehlicke

Philipp primarily advises on restructuring and insolvency law, especially in the context of national and cross-border transactions.

Among his clients are German and international banks, financial institutions, investors and corporates.

His focus is on financial restructuring advising corporates, lenders or investors in distressed situations and on the preparation, negotiation and implementation of complex and international restructuring concepts, for instance by way of an out-of-court "consensual" restructuring or in-court restructuring and insolvency proceedings. In addition, he advises his clients on issues relating to banking and Philipp is a regular member of the team of “Fachdienst Insolvenzrecht” (Beck-Online) where he comments regularly on recent decisions in German and European insolvency and restructuring lawit law. 

Philipp studied law at the University of Mannheim. He wrote his doctoral thesis on cross-border group restructuring proceedings at the chair of Prof. Dr. Madaus at Martin-Luther-University of Halle-Wittenberg.
