Olivier Valk
Olivier advises clients on the full range of corporate (M&A) transactions, with a focus on transactions involving listed companies.
Olivier’s recent experience includes advising Prosus on its take private of JustEatTakaway.com NV, Meridiam on the delisting of Allego NV, Royal DSM on its cross-border merger of equals with Firmenich, Prosus on its 2021 exchange offer to the Naspers shareholders, and Euronext NV on the acquisition of the Borsa Italiana Group from London Stock Exchange Group. 

Olivier regularly publishes on public M&A and related topics, lectures in the ‘Grotius’ post-academic training programme for experienced lawyers and provides guest lectures on public M&A at Utrecht University and on corporate governance at Nyenrode. From 2017-2018 Olivier was based in the firm’s Tokyo office, and since then regularly works on transactions with a link to Japan.
