Olivia advises on a wide variety of corporate transactions including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate reorganisations across the infrastructure, energy and technology sectors.

Olivia was seconded to 3i Group working with 3i’s transactional infrastructure and PE teams in 2018 and Olivia spent six months on secondment to the firm's Singapore office in 2017.

  • Arcus Infrastructure Partners on the combination of Horizon Energy Infrastructure and Smart Meter Assets with Smart Metering Systems to create one of the leading providers of UK smart metering infrastructure.
  • Canada Pension Plan Investment Board on the restructure and partial dissolution of its Maple power joint venture with Enbridge International and on the reorganisation of its offshore wind assets under Reventus Power.
  • Reventus on the restructuring of their European energy business and on the shareholder arrangements with respect to its minority interest in Maple Power.
  • CYVN Holdings on its acquisition of a controlling interest in Gordon Murray Technologies, an electronic vehicle engineering and design business.
  • A private equity firm on its EUR3.4bn acquisition of a 60% stake in a newly created company which will own and operate the Italian telecom provider Wind Tre's mobile and fixed network.
  • 3i Infrastructure on its GBP387m sale of its 93% stake in Wireless Infrastructure Group.
  • DIF on the sale of their shareholdings in six critical infrastructure projects including a sea lock, rolling stock, roads and hospital in The Netherlands, Germany and Austria.
  • Equitix on its acquisition of a portfolio of eight UK PPP assets from DIF Capital Partners.
  • Africa50, an infrastructure investment platform, on its equity investment in Africa Healthcare Network, a leading dialysis services provider in Africa.
  • Macquarie Capital, MIRA and USS on the GBP2.3bn acquisition of the Green Investment Group (GIG) (formerly GIB) from the UK Government.
  • A subsidiary of an integrated energy and chemicals company on the acquisition of a base oils business from Neste Oyj including the NEXBASE™ brand, and the related sales and marketing business.
  • HG Storage International on the disposal of its Scandinavian liquid bulk storage business, Nordic Storage to InterTank Nordic, an independent Swedish terminal operator.
  • Compañía Logística de Hidrocarburos on the GBP420m acquisition of Inter Terminals, a bulk liquid storage business in Western Europe, from Inter Pipeline, a Toronto-listed transportation, storage and processing company.
  • Etsy on the USD1.6bn acquisition of UK unicorn Depop, a community-driven fashion marketplace.
  • Antin Infrastructure and Eiser Infrastructure in separate ICSID arbitrations involving claims against the Kingdom of Spain under the ECT, concerning investments made by the claimants in thermosolar plants.
  • OKG Aktiebolag, the operator of a nuclear power plant in Sweden, on points of interpretation around the potential applicability of Articles 52 and 75 of the Euratom Treaty to certain of its activities.

Pro bono

  • Working with the Afghan Pro Bono Initiative on producing a self-help guidance document on the Afghan Relocations and Assistance Policy.
  • Working with a refugee assistance project assisting with applications under the U.S. Government's Special Immigrant Visa programme. 
  • Working with INGOs Fair Trials and REDRESS on a comparative study of the law and practice in 17 countries regarding the use of evidence obtained by torture.
