Olivia Hardy

Senior Associate

Olivia has experience of working on a range of corporate transactions including corporate finance matters, UK and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity. 

Olivia has experience advising clients operating in the infrastructure, energy and technology sectors on their strategic M&A transactions and investments.

 
Olivia spent six months on secondment to the firm's Singapore office in 2017-2018. In 2018, Olivia spent six months in-house on secondment at 3i Group working with 3i’s transactional infrastructure team.

Experience

Pro bono

Working with human rights organisations Fair Trials and REDRESS, to provide pro bono legal research for a report that compared the law and practices in 17 countries across Europe, Asia Pacific, Africa and the Americas regarding whether torture is used by police and others as a way to obtain confessions from detainees.

Part of an international team of c.40 lawyers across the firm assisting with applications under the U.S. Government's Special Immigrant Visa programme following the withdrawal of U.S. and allied forces from Afghanistan in 2021.
