Nick has over a decade's experience advising on complex commercial disputes, enforcement actions, and investigations.
 
His area of specialist expertise is in defending antitrust damages claims and enforcement action, where he has acted for clients in the financial services, transport, cryptocurrency, energy and retail sectors. His experience spans individual, group and collective (class) actions – including several of the most prominent, complex, and high-value disputes – as well as enforcement action involving the Competition and Markets Authority, the Financial Conduct Authority, the European Commission, and several global antitrust authorities.
 
In addition to his antitrust experience, Nick has acted on a diverse range of commercial disputes in the High Court on behalf of corporates and financial institutions. Several of his cases have reached the Court of Appeal or Supreme Court.
 
Nick has advised on over a dozen investigations, across a range of sectors but particularly in financial services. He has also acted on several international arbitrations.
 
Nick’s experience includes secondments in Hong Kong and Japan. He has been awarded Higher Rights of Audience (Civil).
