Niamh joined Advanced Delivery Legal (ADL) in 2015 and is admitted to the New York Bar.
She brings a wealth of experience in both litigation and corporate practice areas, with a particular focus on cybersecurity and disputes. 

Niamh has a robust background in handling complex litigation matters, particularly on US litigation and regulatory issues. She has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation review, with specialisation on supervising and managing large-scale document review exercises. Her expertise includes leading multi-jurisdictional matters, utilising advanced software tools to ensure quality, consistency, and cost-effective solutions for her clients. 

Niamh assists with cybersecurity matters, focusing on global cyber incident response and data breach response reviews. As part of this, she oversees the incident response teams in Belfast and Perth and helps co-ordinate large-scale data breach reviews, assisting with regulatory investigations and data breach claims following an incident. 

Niamh has undertaken several secondments including, an 18-month tenure at a major financial institution assisting with regulatory restructuring. She has also completed a virtual client secondment advising on data privacy matters and an internal secondment in Belgium where she assisted with a global arbitration case focusing on fraud and financial accounting malpractice. 

Niamh is currently pursuing the IAPP certification ((Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) and (CIPP/US)). 

She is passionate about pro bono and is involved in coordinating pro bono projects in the Belfast office and across the A&O Shearman network. Niamh has worked extensively with Amicus (human rights charity) assisting with mitigation reviews of US death penalty cases and legislative reform review.
