Miklos Kadar


Miklos is Managing Partner of Hungary and advises on financing transactions in the CEE and emerging markets.
Miklos has experience in a range of banking and finance transactions with a focus on complex leveraged finance, margin lending and project finance transactions. Miklos has represented lenders, sponsors, private equity firms, project companies, investors, international financial institutions and multilaterals, mezzanine lenders, sovereign funds and export credit agencies. Miklos is qualified in England and Wales and in Hungary.


Representative matters

MBH, one of the largest Hungarian banks as arranger on the financing of a Hungarian motorway PPP (operation and development) consisting of 1,600km of motorways for a 35-year period. This is one of the largest motorway PPPs in Europe.

EBRD, IFC, Intesa and PBZ on the financing of the 140MW Karavasta solar project and a 19-kilometer overhead transmission line located in Albania. 

The syndicate of lenders on the multi-billion-dollar financings of a global mining conglomerate.
