Michael Schneider
Associate
Michael Schneider is a litigator and trial lawyer in the firm's Houston office. He has extensive experience litigating complex and high-stakes disputes in federal and state trial and appellate courts throughout the United States and in arbitration proceedings.
He also regularly advises clients in connection with bankruptcy and restructuring matters and related litigation. His practice spans across a broad spectrum of substantive areas, with particularly deep experience in the energy sector, and includes advising clients in matters involving oil, gas, and energy, securities and complex financial products, intellectual property, antitrust, competition and advertising, real estate, and product liability. In addition to representing clients in all aspects of litigation, Michael regularly advises clients on pre-dispute matters, internal investigations, strategic risk assessment and control, compliance, and governance issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Michael served as the law clerk to the Honorable Nancy G. Edmunds of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
