Masaki's deal experience spans a range of industries, including automotive, energy, real estate, hospitality, entertainment, and financial services. He has deep experience in public transactions, including tender offers, going-private transactions, and equity issuances, and is well-versed in Japanese securities disclosure regulations that accompany such transactions. Having practiced in the United States, he also has experience with cross-border regulatory matters, including CFIUS reviews.

Masaki also advises clients on a broad range of other corporate matters, including corporate governance, shareholders' meetings, executive compensation, whistleblowing, data protection policies, takeover defense, boardroom disputes, cybersecurity issues, third-party investigations, and activist investor engagement.

Masaki is qualified in both Japan and the state of California. He is fluent in Japanese and English.
