In particular, Maria is involved in advising clients on, and general advocacy work (engaging directly with the lawmakers and supervisors in the EU and the UK) relating to regulation of securitisation and covered bonds in the EU and the UK, EU NPL reforms, sustainability-related reforms and developments relating to central bank (the Eurosystem and the Bank of England) liquidity operations and eligible collateral requirements and regulation of credit rating agencies.
