His experience covers the entire financing lifecycle, from structuring and due diligence to documentation, negotiation and execution, of complex development, investment, acquisition, restructuring and bridge financing arrangements.

Maciej brings over 14 years of experience in real estate financing. Before joining A&O Shearman, he served as Head of Real Estate Finance in Warsaw and gained valuable institutional insight during his secondment to the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg, where he advised on project financing and lending across Poland, as well as the Baltic and Nordic regions.

Maciej’s experience centres on advising private equity sponsors and institutional investors, while also working with major international banks and alternative lenders. He combines legal expertise with strong financial acumen, regularly coordinating multidisciplinary teams and supporting clients on transactions involving multi‑jurisdictional portfolios and diverse capital structures.
