Krzysztof advises on a wide range of commercial disputes and insolvency matters.

He has expertise in representing clients in settlement negotiations, litigation and arbitration, distressed assets deals, restructuring and bankruptcy proceedings. He holds a restructuring advisor license in Poland, which confirms his extensive knowledge and experience in matters related to insolvency.

Krzysztof completed a two-year course in British law in cooperation with the University of Cambridge, which supports his proficiency when working in multi-jurisdictional disputes

Experience

Representative matters

Consortium of banks on ca. EUR 130mln dispute concerning the recovery of funds from a granted loan in a situation where corporate disputes resulted in a loss of control over the borrower (project company). Perhaps the only case in Poland where the control over the borrower (project company) has been lost due to the corporate disputes.

Major fuel industry company on ca. PLN 220mln debtor's restructuring proceedings (previous firm experience).

Major food industry company on PLN 516mln dispute concerning the enforceability of a arbitration tribunal award in Poland.

Construction company on ca. PLN 100mln dispute with the Polish state treasury over road construction works (previous firm experience).
