Khadija advises lenders and borrowers on a range of financing transactions across various sectors and jurisdictions. 

She has a particular focus on project finance, especially in the renewable energy sector, where she has helped clients structure and negotiate complex and innovative projects.

Before joining the firm, Khadija gained valuable insights working in an international law firm on cross-border financing, and then in an investment bank where she served as an export finance legal counsel.

Representative matters

EBRD and Bank of Africa on the financing of the 120MW Khalladi wind farm in Morocco.

The sponsors in relation to the development, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of a 200 MW wind farm in Dakhla.

Managem and Sociétés des Mines de Mandiana on the design, construction, development and operation of the Tri K Gold Mine in Kankan, Mandiana province, Guinea.

EDF Renouvelables and MASEN in relation to the development, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of the Koudia Al Baida wind farm in Morocco.

Lenders in relation to the financing of four PV plants of 400 MW in Tunisia.
