Kabir advises on a wide range of transactions including: private acquisitions and disposals, public takeovers, joint ventures and corporate reorganisations.

He has acted for clients operating in the FIG sector such as banks, asset managers and insurers but has also worked with clients in a range of other industries.

Kabir has previously worked in the A&O Shearman Singapore office and has also been seconded to Heathrow Airport.

Kabir is on the committee for the South Asian Affinity Group.

  • A multinational financial institution on the acquisition of 100% of TSB Banking Group plc from Banco Sabadell with a valuation of GBP2.65 billion. 
  • A global aviation services company on its acquisition of Nordic Aviation Capital Designated Activity Company from NAC Holdings Limited for a total transaction value of over USD2 billion.
  • Zendesk, Inc, on its acquisition of Ultimate, an industry leading provider of service automation using AI technology. 
  • A global financial institution on the sale of its’ banking entities in certain African jurisdictions

Pro bono

  • Assisting the Afghan Pro Bono Initiative with research reports.
  • Advising a family on their UK citizenship applications as part of the CORAM initiative.
  • Attending the Battersea Housing Clinic and providing ad hoc advice to clients.
