As an advocate with extensive expertise in electronic trade, commercial contracts and new technologies law, Justyna helps clients navigate the legal challenges and opportunities of the digital economy.

She has worked on diverse digital projects for clients in various sectors, such as digital health, ad-tech, fintech, e-commerce, connected vehicles, energy and digital marketing, advising on issues such as AI, data reuse, profiling, programmatic and behavioral advertising. She supports clients in developing legal risk management strategies for their digital transformation, covering aspects such as strategic partnerships, cloud services, privacy and cybersecurity, data monetisation and the launch of online products and services throughout their lifecycle.

Justyna also assists clients in various sectors in implementing IT systems, outsourcing solutions and cloud projects, and negotiates agreements on servicing, maintenance, implementation and licensing for IT solutions.

She has experience in representing clients in disputes before the Polish Patent Office and Polish courts, enforcing intellectual property rights and fair competition principles.

Representative matters

  • A fintech company on rolling out financial services in the BaaS (banking as a service) model in cooperation with prominent banks as a service provider from the perspective of personal data protection, business secret and intellectual property protection. This project is the first of its kind in Poland and Europe.
  • International banks on the package of contracts for a multinational technology company and Microsoft cloud services.
  • A multinational technology and e-commerce company in the roll-out and life cycle of their new RTB and display advertising products and ad-tech solutions.
  • An international bank on the launch of a digital consumer lending product in Poland.
  • An international pharmaceutical company in numerous cross-border data protection projects related to the global implementation of cloud-based IT solutions and mobile applications for customer relationship management, document management, clinical research and employment management.

 

 

Pro bono

  • Providing a Polish Non-Governmental Organisation – Czerwone Noski Klaun w Szpitalu Foundation, a Polish partner of Red Noses International – with ongoing advice on the General Data Protection Regulation, cookies, online and offline marketing activities and crowdfunding with the use of new technologies.
  • Advising a Polish SOS Children's Villages association on the data protection matters, online and offline marketing activities, trade mark protection and partnership agreements.
