Josh advises financial institutions as well as sponsors and borrowers across a wide variety of renewables, energy and infrastructure financing projects.

His clients include multilaterals, ECAs, asset manager and their investors and industry-leading sponsors involved in financings across the EMEA region. He has a wealth of experience in acting for both borrowing and lending sides on complex financing transactions.

Josh was recently seconded to Macquarie Asset Management in their private credit division in London to act as a senior in-house legal counsel.

Before moving back to London in 2022, he spent four years advising clients such as International Finance Corporation and Asian Development Bank in many market leading financings in Southeast Asia where he was ranked ‘Associate to Watch’ by Chambers and Partners and ‘Rising Star’ by The Legal 500.

Josh speaks Burmese and Japanese.

  • Sponsors in the financing of a new 1.4GW offshore wind project in northern Europe.
  • A large syndicate of European banks on their over 1 billion euro refinancing and financing of the construction of the latest phase of the Istrian Motorway in Croatia.
  • EdgeConneX on refinancing of its entire European data centre portfolio.
  • Measat Global on its financing for the construction and launch of the MEASAT 3d Satellite involving European ECAs and commercial banks.
