His experience covers a broad range of financing structures from tax-driven structured financings to sustainability-linked loans, as well as asset acquisitions and disposals, leasing and chartering arrangements and associated corporate and management matters.

Representative matters

  • A syndicate of eight international banks on a sustainability-linked pre- and post-delivery financing made available to HMM Co., Ltd. for the construction and acquisition cost of nine dual-fuel containerships with an aggregate contract price of over USD1.1bn.
  • A syndicate of two Nordic banks on a USD225.77m revolving credit facility with an accordion feature made available to a Hong Kong shipowner to refinance twenty-one dry bulk carriers.
  • A syndicate of three international banks on a USD148.57m Japanese Operating Lease with Call Option (JOLCO) financing of four newbuild bulk carriers for a Singapore shipowner.
  • A global financial institution on a USD47.45m refinancing of four handysize bulk carriers from a term loan facility into a JOLCO facility for Cetus Maritime.
  • A maritime service provider on the sale and leaseback of three LPG carriers to Japanese lessors.
  • Cetus Maritime on its acquisition of Nachipa.
