Jonas studied law in Germany and South Africa with a focus on corporate law. During his legal traineeship in Frankfurt, Berlin and Toronto, he worked for various leading law firms in the areas of corporate law, M&A and venture capital. He received a doctorate in corporate law from the University of Freiburg with a special focus on corporate governance and cybersecurity.
Jonas advises private equity investors as well as international and domestic companies on a wide range of M&A transactions, with a particular focus on private equity, private and public M&A, joint ventures, leveraged buy-outs and reorganisations.
