Johanna specializes in all aspects of corporate tax, with a particular focus on advising Private Capital managers and investors on the structuring of funds and cross-border transactions, across all asset classes, including private credit, infrastructure, private equity and real estate.

She is praised by Legal 500 for her ""very strong reputation in tax advice on international fund structuring"". Her work spans both regulated and unregulated alternative investment vehicles, co-investments, GP-led continuation vehicles, and secondary transactions.

A significant part of her practice covers leading on tax aspects of cross-border restructurings, special situations transactions and financings.

Johanna is an active voice in shaping tax policy and industry practice. She contributes to tax working groups at ALFI, Luxembourg's fund industry association, and at InvestEurope, and serves on the editorial board of Cahiers de fiscalité luxembourgeoise et européenne. She is a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and a regular speaker at international and local seminars and conferences.

Johanna holds a PhD in Tax Law with highest honors from the Sorbonne University.
