Jheanelle Girvan
Jheanelle focuses her practice on representing companies and financial institutions in civil and criminal litigation and investigations.
Prior to attending law school, Jheanelle worked at the Georgia Innocence Project, where she worked with attorneys to help wrongfully convicted men and women in the state of Georgia.

During her time at Howard, Jheanelle served as a teaching assistant for Torts and as a student attorney in the Reentry and Trademark I clinics. In the Reentry Clinic, Jheanelle advocated for the funding of the Second Chance Act and assisted clinic clients in their pursuit of record sealing and expungement. In the Trademark I Clinic, Jheanelle assisted small business owners in filing trademark applications.
