Jennifer White Callaghan

Jennifer manages portions of A&O Shearman’s U.S. pro bono practice and is part of the firm's global pro bono group.
She handles many immigration-related cases, in particular relating to Afghanistan, and leads the firm's work on Afghan pathways to the U.S. following the 2021 Taliban takeover. 

She supports firmwide pro bono work on human and civil rights, racial justice, social finance, microenterprise and related areas of law. She is a member of the IBA's Pro Bono Committee, the Law Firm Antiracism Alliance's voting rights group, APBCo's immigration task force and AILA. Jennifer was a trustee of Doctors Without Borders/MSF and of REDRESS. Jennifer started her career at A&O in the derivatives and structured finance group in London.
