Jean has extensive experience across the entire life cycle of private equity and M&A transactions, including investment platforms, equity financings, acquisitions, disposals, co-investments, joint ventures and corporate restructurings. She regularly acts for leading private equity and investment funds, sovereign wealth funds, asset managers, corporate clients and other major institutional clients across a wide range of industries.

  • Warburg Pincus on the PE investment life cycle of the following portfolios: 
    1. its APAC logistics and digital data centre platform “ESR”;
    2. its investment platforms with “Vlinker” specialized in rental apartments investments in China;
    3. its rental apartment platform “Nova” including Nova’s restructurings; and
    4. its APAC platform “Weave” specialized in multi-family and student housing projects in the APAC region.
  • Hillhouse Investment on:
    5. the PE investment life cycle of various investment platforms with asset managers/founders specialized in the logistics and industrial sectors in the Greater China region.
    6. the formation of a biotech incubation platform with several US scientists for the R&D and commercialization of radiotherapy.
  • CBC Group on its partnership with APG in the APAC healthcare platform and the life science development fund with a target fund size of. USD1.5 billion, as well as the related upsize financing from a Middle East SWF.
  • Brookfield on its acquisition of Greenland Huangpu Centre at a valuation of approximately USD1.6 billion, its pre-IPO USD500m investment in China Xintiandi, and its acquisition of shopping malls.
  • A Prominent Global Technology Fund on its equity investment (over USD1 billion) in Ziroom Inc. by way of subscription of preferred shares and purchase of secondary shares.
  • DNE Group on various co-investments in logistics warehousing, healthcare and industrial assets in China with various institutional investors.
