He routinely counsels clients on pension plan investment and compliance with ERISA's fiduciary obligations and prohibited transaction rules, and advises financial institutions, asset managers, and other retirement plan service providers with respect to the varied services and financial products (including complex structured products and derivatives) they offer to U.S. pension plans.
Jason also advises public and private clients on the design, implementation, and administration of their executive compensation plans and arrangements, including deferred compensation, equity and incentive plans, and severance and change in control agreements. Jason most recently worked as a senior ERISA and client services counsel to a multinational investment management firm, where he led and managed negotiations of billion-dollar contracts with institutional clients.
