Experience

Representative matters

  • A neutral, non-profit organization supporting the sustainable growth of Thailand's petroleum, petrochemical and energy sectors on the review of international policies and legislation related to CCS and decarbonization activities in other countries (including Japan, the UK, Norway, Malaysia, Indonesia and others) in order to draft and develop regulations/guidelines for domestic CCS and decarbonization.
  • INPEX, in relation to proceedings in the Supreme Court of Western Australia proceedings commenced against CAR and EAR insurers, seeking in the order of AUD $3 billion in recovery under relevant insurance policies in respect of damage to certain paint and insulation on the Ichthys LNG Plant.
  • Fortescue on a trespass and native title claim brought against it in the Supreme Court of Western Australia.
  • Fortescue on a compensation claim brought against it in relation to activities undertaken at its Solomon Hub Mine.

Pro bono

  • Advising vulnerable clients in preparing applications for protection visas under the Minister's discretionary powers through the Refugee Advice and Casework Service’s (RACS) Ministerial Intervention Program.
  • Assisted a Japanese non-profit organisation dedicated to public interest litigation with research on racial profiling in the context of police stops and searches, in various jurisdictions (including Australia and Sweden).
