Jarne has been actively involved in assisting both global and local clients with strategic technology transactions, including the drafting and negotiation of complex license agreements, collaboration agreements and outsourcing arrangements.
He has also contributed to multi‑jurisdictional strategic data protection and AI projects, gaining valuable insights into the evolving technology landscape and its implications for businesses operating across borders. In addition, through his teaching assistant mandate in the past, Jarne has been bringing strong academic foundations that further enhance the quality and depth of his practical legal work.

  • Advising a global technology company on two strategically significant patent ownership disputes involving core technologies.
  • Assisting the world's largest liquefied natural gas producer and supplier in drafting and negotiating strategic partnership agreements with various technology partners.
  • Advising a global financial cooperative on a multi-workstream project to develop its contractual and governance framework for procuring AI vendor solutions.
  • Advising a leading Belgian bank on all intellectual property aspects of transferring its customer services center to an external service provider.
  • Representing a major Italian restaurant chain in EU trademark infringement and unfair competition proceedings against a Belgian competitor.

  • Advising a human rights organization on GDPR compliance for their transfer of DNA samples for humanitarian and research purposes.
  • Advising a foundation for missing and exploited children on children’s privacy rights on public platforms.
