James represents financial sponsors, private equity funds and their portfolio companies on the financing of multi-jurisdictional transactions with experience in top-tier and mid-market domestic and cross-border syndicated and private credit lending, leverage acquisitions, general banking, special situations, direct lending, asset-backed lending, restructurings and fund financings.

3i and its portfolio company, Action Group, the fastest-growing non-food discounter in Europe, on the debut $1.5bn TLB issuance.

Apollo Global Management on the financing of their bid for Asda from Walmart and the financing of their bid for Morrisons.

Exponent Private Equity on the following matters:

the financing of the acquisition of Chanelle Pharma, Ireland’s largest manufacturer of generic pharmaceuticals;
