Jakub is a renewables sector expert with extensive experience in the Middle East.
He advises sponsors, borrowers, lenders and export credit agencies on project development and financing, with a particular focus on the energy and infrastructure sectors. Jakub also has extensive experience advising on a range of real estate and general corporate matters.

Experience

Representative matters

  • The sponsors on the Shuweihat 4 RO IWP project in Abu Dhabi. 
  • The lenders on a refinancing of three wind farms in Poland. The wind farms have a combined capacity of 132 MW and are owned by a joint venture of Akuo and Mirova. 
  • A consortium of Webuild, FCC Construcción and SK ecoplant as design and construction contractors on the NOK19.8bn (EUR2bn) Sotra Connection PPP road project. 
  • Bayerishe Landesbank and EBRD on financing aspects of the sale of 58.8 MW wind farms to Octopus Renewables. 
  • EDPR, as sponsor, on the financing of a portfolio of six windfarms in total with an aggregate capacity of up to approx. 149.4 MW. 
  • A club of lenders on a EUR860m financing for DCT for the purpose of constructing Terminal 3 of the deep water container terminal in Gdansk, Poland.
