Jakub is a renewables sector expert with extensive experience in the Middle East.
He advises sponsors, borrowers, lenders and export credit agencies on project development and financing, with a particular focus on the energy and infrastructure sectors. Jakub also has extensive experience advising on a range of real estate and general corporate matters.

Experience

Representative matters

The sponsors on the Shuweihat 4 RO IWP project in Abu Dhabi. 

The lenders on a refinancing of three wind farms in Poland. The wind farms have a combined capacity of 132 MW and are owned by a joint venture of Akuo and Mirova. 

A consortium of Webuild, FCC Construcción and SK ecoplant as design and construction contractors on the NOK19.8bn (EUR2bn) Sotra Connection PPP road project. 

Bayerishe Landesbank and EBRD on financing aspects of the sale of 58.8 MW wind farms to Octopus Renewables. 

EDPR, as sponsor, on the financing of a portfolio of six windfarms in total with an aggregate capacity of up to approx. 149.4 MW. 

A club of lenders on a EUR860m financing for DCT for the purpose of constructing Terminal 3 of the deep water container terminal in Gdansk, Poland.
