Hippolyte focuses primarily on complex white-collar crimes issues and high-stakes commercial litigation.

He regularly assists his clients, legal persons or managers, at all stages of the criminal procedure (enquête préliminaire, instruction, judicial phase), for interviews, hearings or negotiations with all criminal authorities, the labor inspection or the French competition authority (DGCCRF). He also advises clients on matters relating to their compliance programs (anti-corruption, fight against money laundering and terrorist financing) and assists them in conducting internal investigations, whether initiated in response to dawn raids or triggered by whistleblower reports.

Hippolyte also has significant experience in high-profile civil and commercial disputes, and duty of vigilance matters. Hippolyte holds an L.L.M in Criminal Law, Intellectual Property Law, Media Law and Cultural Property from King’s College London and is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris.

Hippolyte is Head of the Paris Pro Bono Committee and currently serves as one of four global social impact partners at A&O Shearman.
