He also develops and maintains knowledge resources, such as precedents, templates, guides, and newsletters, to enhance the efficiency and consistency of our legal services and to keep our lawyers and clients updated on the latest developments and best practices.
Gauthier has a strong academic background and experience in litigation and contracts. He has been a litigation attorney since 2013, representing and advising clients in complex and diverse disputes before courts, as well as in pre-litigation and settlement negotiations. He has extensive experience in handling cases involving contractual breaches, property rights, tort claims, insolvency proceedings, banking disputes, and energy regulation. He has been a teaching and research assistant (40%) from 2013 to 2020 at UCLouvain (under the supervision of P. Wéry). Gauthier is the author of various publications on contract law, real estate and new technologies in leading journals and books and regularly speaks at conferences.
Gauthier holds a master degree in law from UCLouvain (magna cum laude) and participated in a LLM program for six-month at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law (Sacramento, California) where he studied the U.S. commercial law, IP law, contract law and legal procedure.
