Gartan is a Senior Associate in the corporate team in our Abu Dhabi office.

He joins us from a leading international law firm in London, where he advised on numerous international and domestic private equity and strategic M&A transactions.

Gartan previously worked as the legal coordinator of an international oil services company based in Abu Dhabi.

  • Telegraph Media Group Limited and its Independent Directors on the ongoing sale of The Telegraph and May Corporation Limited and its Independent Directors on the sale of The Spectator (previous firm experience). 
  • LionRock Capital on its acquisition of a majority stake in Clarks, a UK-based, international shoe manufacturer and retailer (previous firm experience). 
  • Partners Group and its portfolio company Emeria Group, on the acquisition of Chestertons UK, one of London’s largest and oldest estate agents (previous firm experience). 
  • LionRock Capital on the acquisition of Haglöfs AB from ASICS Corporation (previous firm experience). 
  • OEG Renewables Group (a portfolio company of Oaktree) on the acquisition of Bluestream, an oil services company (previous firm experience).
