Gareth has significant experience advising clients on a wide variety of corporate matters, including private M&A, joint ventures, investments, reorganisations and listing requirements.

Gareth has deep expertise in complex cross-border M&A transactions and regularly advises clients on M&A auction processes, acting for both sellers and for buyers.

Gareth is a core member of A&O Shearman's Global Life Sciences practice, acting for a variety of clients across the sector.  He also regularly advises client across a range of other sectors, including consumer/retail, TMT and financial institutions.

A global healthcare company on the disposal of various OTC businesses/products by way of auction.

Laureate Education on its EUR770m sale of its institutions in Spain and Portugal to a company backed by the Permira funds.

UBM plc on its acquisition of Allworld Exhibitions.
