He has experience advising lenders, private credit funds, sponsors and corporate borrowers across a broad range of financings including real estate finance, loan-on-loan finance and corporate lending transactions.

Fiachra trained and qualified into the debt finance department of a leading Irish law firm.

Experience

Representative matters

  • The arrangers on a c.€1.5bn pan-European data centre financing.
  • A syndicate of eighteen senior lenders and the senior facility agent on extending and amending c.€3bn senior and mezzanine facilities for a pan-European logistics portfolio.
  • The lenders on establishing new term facilities for WH Smith plc and on amendments to its existing facilities.
  • An alternative lender and private equity sponsor on financing and establishing loan origination platforms in Ireland focused on the commercial property market (previous firm experience).

Pro bono

  • Advising on Irish employment law issues in Free Legal Aid Clinics.
