Enzo has a wide experience advising sponsors, lenders, multilateral institutions, contractors and host governments on the structuring, financing and development of major projects in Europe and internationally, with significant experience on transactions across the African continent.

Experience

Representative matters

  • The lenders on the bank refinancing and expansion of the Istrian Motorway Project in Croatia for EUR1.1bn.
  • IFC and Proparco on a facility for Sama Al-Manar for General Trading Company Ltd and Manar FZCO for the financing of an agro-industrial complex in Iraq.
  • Envision AESC Group Limited in relation to the financing of its proposed 9GWh battery factory in Douai in Northern France, supported by offtake arrangements with Renault.
  • The three underwriters (BNPP, CACIB and SG) on all aspects of the landmark c.EUR2bn limited-recourse financing by the underwriter and the European Investment Bank of the 497 MW Fécamp offshore wind farm, which is co-developed by EDF-R, Enbridge and wpd. (previous firm experience)
  • CWP Global on the ongoing development of an large-scale integrated green hydrogen and ammonia project involving dedicated renewables energy generation plants, desalination; processing plants and export facilities including all negotiations with the State of Mauritania. (previous firm experience)

Pro bono

  • Enzo worked as a volunteer as part of Pro Bono scheme of the Uganda Law Society advising local population and prisoners on various legal issues.
