Emma is a member of the Markets Innovation Group, a group of lawyers, technologists and developers who are focused on the creation of innovative solutions for clients to meet large-scale legal and regulatory challenges.

She is part of the team that developed ContractMatrix, an award-winning generative-AI contract drafting and negotiation tool built in partnership with Microsoft and Harvey. In addition to her work on the creation and implementation of technological solutions, she has experience advising businesses on how to manage AI legal risk and regulatory compliance through effective AI policies and governance.
 
Emma is a Steering Committee member of A&O Shearman's Society for East Asians in Law.
 
Emma also spent six months in Tokyo on secondment to A&O Shearman’s International Arbitration team, where she advised on construction disputes with a particular focus on Southeast Asia.
