Elliott advises on a broad range of commercial disputes, with a particular focus on contractual, civil fraud and competition disputes.
Elliott has acted for corporates, financial institutions and individuals in the High Court and the Competition Appeal Tribunal. His experience includes advising on a number of complex pieces of commercial litigation, civil fraud disputes, and competition damages claims. He also has experience of multi-jurisdictional enforcement and asset recovery proceedings.

  • Representing a global financial institution in claims in the High Court and the Competition Appeal Tribunal relating to allegations of anti-competitive conduct in the foreign exchange market.
  • Representing a shareholder and certain former directors of a leading Ugandan bank in a High Court claim relating to allegations of conspiracy.
  • Representing a leading global aircraft leasing company in a High Court claim relating to allegations of breach of contract.
  • Advising a US-headquartered multi-national on enforcement and asset recovery proceedings in multiple jurisdictions following a $100m+ LCIA arbitration award.
  • Representing a London-based financial services firm in a High Court claim relating to allegations of breach of warranty following a £1.3bn acquisition.
  • Representing a technology company in a High Court claim for injunctive relief and damages relating to allegations of breach of contract.

Pro bono

  • Advising international human rights charities and NGOs on existing international and domestic legislation and proposals for reform, with a particular focus on anti-discrimination legislation and LGBT+ protections.
  • Advising a London-based non-profit on proposed offences relating to corruption in public office.
