David McMenamin

David specialises in advising clients on a wide range of contentious matters, including regulatory and internal investigations, both domestically and cross-border.


David has experience acting for financial institutions and corporates on a broad range of issues, including market abuse, insider trading, AML and anti-bribery and corruption, fraud, non-financial misconduct, and a range of other types of systems and controls failings.

David has a notable focus on advising clients involved in regulatory investigations conducted by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and on related FCA Code of Conduct and fitness and propriety issues.

David was recently seconded to the in-house internal investigations team of a multi-national investment bank and has also previously spent six months on secondment to A&O Shearman’s Dubai office.
