Danisha advises corporate clients and private equity sponsors on domestic and cross-border transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, restructurings and co-investments.

Danisha joined A&O Shearman in 2024, after training at another international law firm. She earned her LL.B. magna cum laude from the University of Utrecht and her masters in corporate law cum laude from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

Danisha also holds a master’s degree in business law from the University of Texas at Austin, which she obtained in 2024. Danisha is the author of a book published in 2021 about finance and the right of pledge.

  • Danisha has volunteered for various international human rights organizations advocating against the death penalty.
