Daniel is a technology and telecommunications lawyer with over 15 years' experience advising a broad range of clients that include Big Techs, telcos, banks, PE firms and leading Australian and multinational corporations.

He advises suppliers and acquirers of technology on a broad range of issues and transactions, including digital infrastructure, automation technology, tech and telecom M&A, whole of lifecycle technology procurement, complex systems integration projects, IT and business outsourcing, product development and launch, cross-border data protection frameworks, and data sharing joint-ventures.

In the telecoms space, Daniel has been a close advisor to major fixed and mobile carriers for over a decade, and also advises large enterprise and energy sector customers on their telecommunications needs. His experience includes nation-wide fixed and mobile network roll-outs, private LTE deployments, IoT network solutions, satellite launches, facilities access, passive infrastructure sharing and joint ventures, network infrastructure acquisitions, network managed services agreements, and a broad range of transactions in wholesale and retail telecommunications such as product launches, MVNO agreements and distribution and resale agreements.

A joint venture, on its AUD2bn Australian 5G network rollout with Nokia.

Mark43 Inc., on its dispute with NSW Police over the termination of a AUD1.2bn contract to replace legacy systems. 

American Tower Corporation, on its bids to acquire the respective tower portfolios of Optus (70% valued at AUD1.9bn) and Axicom (100% valued at AUD3.6bn) in Australia. 

Microsoft, on its launch of various of telecommunications products in Australia, including Teams, Skype, and b2b VoIP products. 

TPG, on launching numerous telecommunications products, including managed private LT to the energy sector and IoT solutions for utilities. 

Arafura Rare Earths, on its RFP and contract with Telstra to build its private telecommunications network for its Nolans project. 

Perpetual, on its deal to supply an end-to-end bond investment, management and custody services platform to a Big4 Australian bank. 

Volvo, on its global data warehousing project.
